In Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), carefully monitored hormone treatments help restore optimal levels of essential hormones which regulate mood, energy, metabolism, sleep, and overall well-being.  We take a personalized approach to care, understanding that every woman's experience of perimenopause and menopause is unique.

Our weight loss services focus on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of obesity. We approach weight loss medically, offering a comprehensive approach to help you reach and sustain a healthy weight, while reducing the risks associated with obesity-related health conditions.

Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) at our clinic helps men restore healthy hormone levels, boosting energy, mood, muscle mass, and libido. Our personalized treatment plans are physician-supervised to safely improve quality of life and support long-term wellness.

FAQ's

1. What can I expect for my initial consult? Welcome to our clinic! We're here to provide you with exceptional care, and we want to ensure your first visit is as smooth and informative as possible. Here's what you can expect: Online Forms Before your visit, you'll be asked to complete some forms online. These may include personal information, questionnaires, medical history, and consent forms. Please fill them out at your earliest convenience so we can provide you with the best care possible. Detailed Discussion with the Doctor During your visit, you'll have a one-on-one discussion with our doctor. The length of this consultation may vary depending on the complexity of your condition. We encourage you to share all relevant health concerns and medical history so we can tailor your treatment accordingly. Collaborative Diagnostic and Treatment Plan After the discussion, the doctor will work with you to create a personalized diagnostic and treatment plan. This will be a collaborative process, ensuring that you fully understand your condition and the available treatment options. Payment Due at Time of Service Please note that payment for services rendered is due at the time of your visit. Our clinic accepts various payment methods, and our staff will be happy to assist you with any questions regarding billing. We look forward to partnering with you on your health journey! If you have any questions prior to your appointment, don't hesitate to reach out to our team.

2. What forms of payment are accepted? Our goal is to allow flexible payment methods including cash, check, credit card, HSA or flex spending, and various digital online payments. We do not take health insurance.

3. Is laboratory testing included in the cost of the visit? The visit price does not include laboratory or diagnostic testing. We have partnered with several reputable labs to provide cost-effective but reliable tests. Our doctors will explain any tests they feel are necessary or helpful, and provide cost information to help guide your decisions. Some tests will be available to take home from the clinic for your convenience.

4. What are some symptoms that might indicate I'm in perimenopause/menopause? During perimenopause and menopause, women may experience a range of physical and emotional symptoms due to hormonal changes. Here is a list of common symptoms: Menstrual Cycle Changes Hot Flashes Night Sweats Sleep Disturbances Mood Swings Vaginal Dryness Decreased Libido Fatigue Memory Issues or "Brain Fog" Breast Tenderness Headaches Urinary Issues Changes in Skin Weight Gain Joint and Muscle Pain Osteoporosis Changes in Hair Increased Risk of Cardiovascular Disease Dry Eyes and Mouth Increased Sensitivity to Stress Symptoms can vary in intensity and duration from woman to woman.

5. Does estrogen therapy put me at high risk for complications such as breast cancer? There has been a lot of debate about estrogen therapy, particularly following studies from the 1990s that raised concerns about a significant increase in breast cancer risk. However, recent research has provided a more nuanced understanding, debunking earlier claims that estrogen therapy alone drastically increases breast cancer risk. Here’s what the most recent evidence tells us: Revised Understanding of Risk Early studies, particularly the Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) study conducted in the 1990s, suggested a strong link between hormone therapy (including estrogen) and an increased risk of breast cancer. However, more recent research has clarified that the risk is not as high as initially thought and depends largely on the type of therapy used, duration of treatment, and the individual’s health history. Recent Findings and Reevaluation Newer analyses, including updated follow-up from the WHI, have shown that the risks associated with hormone therapy, including breast cancer, are less significant than originally thought, particularly for women who use it for short periods. In fact, the benefits of hormone therapy in reducing severe menopausal symptoms (such as hot flashes, night sweats, and vaginal dryness) may outweigh the risks for many women, especially when used for a limited duration. Risk Factors Are Individual The increased risk of breast cancer related to estrogen therapy is also highly individualized. Factors like age, personal and family medical history, and the presence of other health conditions can all influence the level of risk. Women with a higher genetic risk for breast cancer or a family history of the disease may have a different risk profile, so hormone therapy should be tailored to the individual. Focus on Personalized Care Today’s approach to hormone therapy emphasizes a personalized treatment plan. This includes ongoing discussions with your doctor to evaluate your specific health needs and concerns. With proper monitoring and careful use, estrogen therapy can be a safe and effective option for managing menopause symptoms without significantly increasing cancer risk.

6. When is a follow-up appointment needed? For changes in medication or health status, complex questions, or other matters at physician's or patient's discretion.

7. How do subscription discounts work? The monthly cost is $130/month. Paying multiple months in advance reduces the monthly cost: • 3 months: $120/month • 6 months: $110/month • 12 months: $100/month

8. Is there a minimum subscription length? Yes, 6 months.

9. Why is there no a la carte plan for TRT? Testosterone replacement therapy usually requires regular followup.
